Do you fit roofs, or just supply the materials?
We are a roofing merchant, not a roofing contractor. We supply the materials for your project and offer free estimating from your plans or measurements, but we do not carry out roofing work ourselves.
Can you match or source a specific roof tile or slate?
Yes. Matching an existing roof is one of the things we do most. Bring in a sample tile, or email a clear photo of both faces to sales@theroofingcentre.com, and we will identify it and source new, equivalent or reclaimed stock where available.
Can I buy a small quantity for a repair?
Yes. We serve the public as well as the trade, and small repair quantities are welcome, even a handful of tiles. There is no minimum order.
Do you sell metal roofing sheets and cladding?
Yes. We supply metal roof sheets and cladding in box profile and corrugated profiles, plus fibre cement sheets. They are popular for stables, field shelters, garages and outbuildings.
We offer a choice of gauges and colours, standard lengths or cut to size, and the foam fillers and fixings to finish the job. Send us your measurements for a price.
How do I get a quote?
Email your list, plans or drawings to sales@theroofingcentre.com, or call 01908 373 111. Quoting by email lets us check current stock and prices properly, so nothing is missed.
We usually reply within 24 hours, depending on the size of the project. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.
Do you deliver, and is delivery free?
Yes. Free delivery depends on your order value, so ask when you request your quote and we will confirm it.
For small items that can go by post, order by 10am for next-day delivery. Larger orders are delivered on a booked date, so we can agree a time that suits you and your site.
Can I collect from your yard?
Yes. We are open 6:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, early enough to load up before the working day starts. Please call 01908 373 111 before you travel so we can check stock and have your order ready.

Do you buy and sell reclaimed tiles and slates?
Yes, both. We stock reclaimed tiles and slates, ideal for matching weathered roofs or working to a budget.
If you have reclaimed tiles coming off a job, we are interested. We will need to see a sample and know the quantity, and we agree a price before we commit to buy. We can collect, as long as the tiles are crated up and stacked well.
How do I open a trade account?
We offer two types of trade account.
Cash account: trade pricing without credit. Call 01908 373 111 or email sales@theroofingcentre.com and ask to open one.
Credit account: download our credit application form, complete it and email it to sales@theroofingcentre.com. Approval takes up to 7 days and is often quicker.
Can the general public buy from you, or is it trade only?
Everyone is welcome. We serve trade professionals and the general public alike, with the same friendly advice whether you need one pallet of tiles or one tile.
Can I return unused materials?
Yes, at the manager’s discretion, within 28 days of purchase, if the items are in a resaleable condition. A 25% restocking charge applies, and if we need to collect the items a transport charge is added.
Special orders cannot be returned.
Do you supply in-roof (integrated) solar?
Yes, on a supply-only basis. We supply a certified in-roof solar system that replaces tiles rather than sitting on top of them, including panels, inverters and batteries. The panels are lightweight (8.95kg) and MCS accredited down to a 15° pitch.
